Cisco – Format USB for use

Use the following commands in windows command prompt to format a usb for use in a cisco device:

diskpart
list disk
select disk <INDEX OF USB DISK>
clean
create part primary size=4000
active
format fs=fat label="CISCO" quick

Try a smaller partition size (2000 or 1000) if you still have issues.  Some Cisco devices support FAT32, but some don’t.  😛
